[Ariadne Unavailable]
Ariadne Writer's Studio is awaiting a substantial rewrite and is currently not available for download.
Events are items which describe the events of your story. These can be large events; for example, 'Harold marched his army all the way from the North down to the South Coast, pushing his men all the way'. Or they can be small events; for example, 'Fred enters the conservatory'.

Click the 'New Event' button to create a new event; then type a name, and hit return.

To create a sequence of events, you can use the 'Add Above' and 'Add Below' buttons to add an event above or below the event you've just added.

To rename an event, double-click the event then type in the new name for the event. Press the Enter key when you have finished typing the new name.
To delete an event, click the event you want to delete, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.

To describe an event, click the event. If necessary, open the description panel with the text button (above) or by clicking the description bar at the very bottom of the screen. Then type your description into the panel. You can use this to enter longer prose for the event, for example, 'Fred hears Pete and Katy talking in the conservatory, and comes in to see what they are talking about. He bangs his shoulder on the doorframe on his way in.'
To close the editing area, hit the description button again, on the click the description bar again. The editing area will close.
